The Plough sources ingredients locally, buying food directly from the farmers and suppliers in and around Essex and Cambridgeshire and many are mentioned on the menu.

Our chef ensures that everybody is catered for with his stunning menus including a broad selection of vegan and vegetarian dishes. Dairy and gluten-free options are always available.

Handpicked by Chef specials give a unique extra dimension to our menus; please ask our staff what intriguing combinations are available on the day of your visit.

The Fish and Chip Shop menu is now available for take away service Monday - Saturday.

To accommodate a day off for the Head Chef we will run a slightly limited menu all day Thursday which will still offer lunchtime sandwiches and popular staples of fish and chips, pies, burgers and a vegan chilli.

Friday night is Mexican night from 6pm - 9pm.

Sunday Roasts are available for take away every week during our regular service times.

Sandwich and soup lunch menus are also available from midday until 3pm Monday - Friday.
